"Rachael Lorenzo (Mescalero Apache/Laguna Pueblo/Xicana) is the policy associate at Young Women United (YWU), which leads reproductive justice organizing and policy initiatives by and for self-identified young women of color in New Mexico. She is a pansexual and indigenous mother of two, Adalie and Jude. She raises her children with her husband, Justin, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She spends time weight lifting, relearning what her ancestors taught, and using lessons learned to inform and strengthen her work and her family. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration, both from the University of New Mexico."
